Security

Your safety is important to us! As it is unfortunately possible that pickpockets or similar could be on the move at a major event like DoKomi, we ask you to read the following safety instructions and to observe them during the event:

  • Never leave your booth unattended - even during set-up and dismantling times - and make sure that you occupy it in good time at the start of the day and only leave it when DoKomi ends for that day.

  • Take care of your valuables and do not leave them at the booth out of your sight. Expensive items such as laptops can often be secured with suitable chains and locks as an additional safety measure.

  • Design the booth in a way that allows you and your team to see every part of it, with as few blind spots as possible.

  • Use a mobile solution for cash/change that you can carry close to your body, such as a so-called waiter's bag. This means you always have your money at hand and can keep an eye on it at all times.

  • Do not accept food/drinks from people you do not know.

  • If possible, never stay alone at the booth. Thieves often travel with several people. This means that, for example, one part of the group can engage the booth holder in conversation to grab his attention while someone else commits the theft.

  • For drivers: Never leave bags, suitcases, valuables etc. visible in your vehicle, not even when parking in the exhibitor parking lots within the exhibition grounds.
