When and where will DoKomi 2024 take place?
DoKomi 2024 will take place from June 28-30 at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center and the adjacent Congress Center Süd. In 2023, DoKomi took place on more than 130,000 m² in the Congress Center Süd, halls 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 and the adjacent indoor areas, offering more than enough space for a wide variety of program items.

Who can apply for a fan booth?
We offer cheaper conditions for fan booths, because our goal is to support smaller artists and projects and offer them a stage at DoKomi. Therefore, only artists who offer their own works and products as well as persons, groups and organizations from the community and fan area can apply. In addition, a sufficient connection to the topics Japan, Manga / Comic or Anime must be recognizable. Some examples of projects we would like to offer a stage to can be found below:
- Fan conventions
- Content creators from the scene (Youtube channels, Twitch channels or similar, e.g. VTuber)
- Online blogs
- Fan communities & local fan meetings (including Discord servers with thematic reference)
- Cosplay photographers
- Music projects (bands, singers, artists related to anime and Japan)
- Gaming communities
- Indie authors with thematic reference
- German-Japanese associations
- Indie designers
- and many more!

Please note: Participation as a fan booth is only possible from the age of 18.
How do I apply for a fan booth?
The application phase for 2024 will start on 18 November 2023, 8 pm, and run until 17 December 2023. During this time period, applications can be submitted via the following online portal:

In the form, you can choose whether you want to book a regular fan booth or one of the larger professional booths. There you will also find all the necessary information about prices, bookable additional services, our terms and conditions and other topics that are relevant for you and must be observed.
After sending the form you will receive a confirmation of receipt and you can access your booking at any time with your login to view the details again.
**Note: You can still edit your booking until you receive the stand confirmation or cancellation.
After the end of the registration phase we check all received bookings and then send the acceptance or rejection. If you have been accepted, you will also receive the invoice for your booking with the acceptance.
