Miyajima Reiji

The manga artist (mangaka) made his debut in 2008. He gained recognition in 2010 with the series "AKB49 - Ren'ai Kinshi Jōrei," which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

His international breakthrough came in 2017 with the romantic comedy series "Rent-A-Girlfriend" (Kanojo, Okarishimasu). The manga has sold over 15 million copies worldwide, received multiple anime adaptations, and was also adapted into a live-action drama.

Since 2022, he has also been working on the series "The Children of the Shiunji Family" (Shiunji-ke no Kodomotachi), which is serialized in Young Animal magazine and is also currently being adapted into an anime.

The mangaka is now one of the most well-known figures in modern romantic comedy manga and is currently working on two series simultaneously.
