The Cosplay Video Contest (CVC) is back for another round in 2026! Following the fantastic feedback from previous years, DoKomi invites you once again to not only wear your cosplays – but to bring them to life in a cinematic way. Whether it's an epic story, a stylish showcase, or a viral short video: the stage is yours and your camera's.

Alone, in a team or as a group
Whether it's a solo project, a duo, or a full crew - grab your camera (or smartphone), get into your cosplay, and show us your vision!
The CVC is the perfect stage for creative storytelling, powerful visuals, and everything that brings your cosplay to life.
The categories - Choose your format
Once again, you can choose one of three categories and implement your idea exactly as you want:
- Cosplay Video: Classic storytelling and/or a music video based on your favorite anime or game. Whether faithfully recreated or completely reinterpreted - anything goes.
- Cosplay Showcase: A pure showcase video for 1-4 cosplays, without any storytelling. Perfect for highlighting details, poses, and design.
- TikTok / Reel: Short, creative, and vertical! Whether it's a story, a showcase, or something completely crazy - you can produce your video directly for TikTok or Instagram Reels, or edit it yourself in the appropriate format.
