We hope you are looking forward to the next DoKomi or have already had a lot of fun at one of our past events!
We have been struggling for the last 2 DoKomi years like never before in the history of DoKomi to be able to offer you a nice and safe event now as well as in the next years. As you have surely noticed, the pandemic hits the event industry the hardest. Even though we were able to hold the last years due to specific factors, this was only possible under strict conditions: less than half of the usual visitors were allowed to attend, but the space was almost doubled and the costs for the hygiene and safety concept were immense.
We are therefore asking for your help in these difficult times with this appeal for donations.
For 14 years now, we have been planning the DoKomi every year and have grown together with you, developed together and helped to shape the scene in a positive way.
In these challenging times, we try to offer the hundreds of exhibitors, artists, suppliers and partners a little bit of perspective to survive the pandemic, and to give you visitors a weekend to look forward to every year.
We have spared no expense or effort to make the event as safe as possible. We also organise the DoKomi to be as inclusive as possible for all those who cannot come to Düsseldorf. Once again, we will deliver a bit of convention feeling to your home. You can participate in the stage programmes via streams, as well as actually meet a lavishly designed digital world in VRChat. And all this is completely free of charge!
If you would like to support us (voluntarily!) with the costs of these projects or simply help us to continue to survive these difficult times, we would be very grateful. You can do this in the following ways:
Donation via Paypal: email@example.com
Donation to our donation account: IBAN: DE77 3705 0198 1930 4564 60 (holder: AkibaDreams GmbH)
Participation via the DigiKomi Livestream
- via Twitch Prime subscription
- Twitch Sub
- Cheers / Bits
And even if a donation is not possible for you, we appreciate every recommendation to friends and every well-intentioned shoutout.
DoKomi relies on your help in these difficult times. Every little bit helps to overcome the various challenges of the pandemic period.
Here's to being able to offer you a beautiful convention in the future, both during and after this difficult time, where creativity, tolerance and community of our colourful and diverse scene can be celebrated. :)
