In cooperation with Nyfter we are organizing a special drawing competition with great prizes!
Nyfter is looking for a new design for their gaming mousepad series. The winning image will not only be chosen as the new mousepad design, but will also receive the following prizes:
- 1,000€ prize money
- 2x DoKomi 2024 3-day pass
- Optional: A guaranteed artist booth confirmation for DoKomi 2025
What do you have to do?
Send your entry to wettbewerb@dokomi.de with the subject "DoKomi x Nyfter Contest". Please also include your artist name (if available) and a link to your social media artist gallery as a reference in the email.
[Important!] The submitted motif must be related to anime & Japan. Fanart and integration of other copyrighted elements as well as the use of generative AI are not allowed.
(Important!) Post your entries on social media under the hashtag #DoKomixNyfter2024 so we can share them :)

Design rules
To be considered for the competition, the following rules must be adhered to by all entries:
- Drawing size: 900mm (width) x 500mm (height)
- 2cm clearance to all sides for section. Accordingly, this area should not contain any text or elements that must not be cut off.
- Resolution: at least 300dpi
- Color space: CYMK
- File format: PSD & PNG
- No generative AI may be used!
- No copyrighted content may appear in the drawing.
- Theme: In keeping with the DoKomi motto, the drawings should be thematically related to anime or Japan. The participants are free to use the existing DoKomi mascots.

- Consider a suitable place in the drawing where Nyfter can place their logo. At this point it should be avoided placing important picture elements. See examples on the Nyfter website:
